el mundo de chicas

as of yet, i haven´t met anyone male to become friends with.

this problem only increased when i failed to meet any men over the
weekend. that means that, as things stand, all of my friends are
exclusively 18 years old and female.

when i voice my concerns over the lack of masculinity in the group
(not that i´m not masculine, you understand) it´s simply
misunderstood as me wanting to meet men for other reasons.

nevertheless, today i believe i´ve made progress. there are apparently
FIVE male english language assistants, working somehwere in the
vicinity of my school (so the other language assistant who i work with
told me - she´s female, naturally). so at least there´s hope.

Welcome to my world Matt! Seems that most American males are, to put it as politely as I can, juvenile arseholes. As for the girls, I just have to open my mouth and they want to tell me all about how much they like Harry Potter.

while i understand your justifiable need for a little male companionship, do not pretend you haven´t enjoyed our compàny! really matt, what the hell would you be doing without us? please, we´d love some more male presence too so quit your barking.

-one of the three females...
american harry potter fan.

I never thought I'd see the day where Matt was the sole provider of male "presence"!

Seems like I need to visit, Brussels is full of chain smoking whores. (I guess that's not a bad thing if you're into chain smoking whore, but alas, I am not)

tim, should probably have mentioned that one of my female companions was american. nice to see you´re still putting your foot in it!

and i must admit, female companionship has its merits. for example, did you know that if you wash with anti-bacterial soap before shaving, you won´t get sore bits.

were it not for the chicas, i would be a bit of a loner...and have shaving rash.

I feel bad now, so I want to just say that I am friends with some very nice Americans and the Harry Potter thing really doesn't bother me...

But no, I have never met Prince William.

nice recovery

Nice recovery indeed. Actually, I am in a class with an unusually large number of German au-pairs, maybe we should start asking them about the geographical location of their country.

Any news on locating the other men? And, to back up the american one a little bit I think it was you that first started talking about the 'picking up the soap' joke. You can't blame them for the slight misunderstanding!

Anyway...
