today, i met a fellow language assistant from england who is
experiencing the same experience as me, via the same agency. but that
isn´t the interesting part, oh no my friends. she is about to embark
on a european studies course (yes, you´re hearing me right). that´s
only the fourth person in the world who i´ve ever met doing european
studies (and that includes me!!)
these europe nutcases just can´t get enough...

heh, just found out that tiesto in spanish means flowerpot

england looked stunning as i flew over it on saturday. such a clear
day, out of heathrow saw the new wembley, as well as hannah´s house,
guildford and the a3 (the latter three i know and love well).
flying over portsmouth was the highlight for me. to think that joe
could have been in our (old) garden, gazing upwards with some
binoculars telling us it was a british airways 737 (actually was an
iberia a320) whilst i was looking down on him - romantic stuff.
the sky was so clear, i saw south parade, port solent tesco and the
spinky. now that made me excited!!

so, a journey to spain awaits tomorrow. looking forward to flying out
of heathrow, especially if i can spot hannahs house.
off to live with a family and teach some english and i'm quite
excited. a little nervous, haven't done any spanish over the holidays
despite promising myself to read the spanish dictionary cover to
cover. ho hum, we'll see...
