the beach

the beach was awesome (photos on right). cracking pool, bit of swimming in the sea and plenty of beach bat. four days thoroughly well spent.
the driving wasn't too bad either. thankfully, the sweats didn't accumulate during the drive, which made things much more pleasant. the car was an opel meriva (see photo) - yep, that's right, it's a shoe box with wheels.
it had a huge post between the drivers door and windscreen, which made turning left look like a scene from ace ventura (see photo). all in all though, i almost mastered how to drive spanish style: i used my horn extensively (occasionally without reason) though refused to drive 5 metres behind the car in front - thats the recommended distance in place of the two second rule.
in terms of photos, there's some more where's pickles photos (i know you enjoyed the first instalment), pictures of when my street turned into a river and some town i visited. enjoy.
